WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

15.09.2025

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Casa de la Era

Monday 15 September 2025

At 5:30 PM in the south of Spain we will gather with friends and family to say ‘I do!’, then we’ll wine and dine the night away!

Dress code: Formal/Semi-formal

Address:

Casa de la Era

Carretera a Ojén, Km 1 «Junto a La Cañada» 29603 Marbella, Málaga

Other Events

We want to make the most of being in southern Spain and the opportunity to catch up with you all and so we are having two additional events on the days surrounding the wedding

Sunday, September 14th: join us at 8pm for a welcome dinner at The Farm in Old Town, Marbella. The dress code is a bit more relaxed (men, shorts are okay!) and this will be a casual chance to catch up with everyone in advance of the wedding day.

Tuesday, September 16th: we’ll be at Bono Beach Club for a post-wedding beach day. The more the merrier and we would love to see some of you there – but no pressure at all! We will be there on a sunbed from 12pm and there will be a DJ from 2-5pm. You have a few options to join us:

  • Book a bed for the day directly through their website (starting from €20 – highly recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance as these often sell out).
  • Stop by for a drink or a bite to eat at the restaurant (no bed booking required).
  • Enjoy the free public beach next to the club – we’ll pop over to say hello!

The restaurant at the beach club is a bit pricey, but luckily there’s also a great local spot nearby. Restaurante Las Flores is only a 5-minute stroll down the beach

Helpful Information

Malaga & Marbella

Málaga is the capital city of the Costa del Sol and is home to some of Spain’s most stunning coastlines. Málaga is known for its beautiful old town, galleries, and tapas bars. Málaga is considered Andalusia’s leading cultural and historical hub. If time permits in your travel plans, we recommend staying a night or two in Málaga.

Marbella is 50km south-west of Málaga and is a popular destination known for its beautiful Mediterranean coastline. The town features 25 beaches, 16 golf courses, and the famous Puerto Banús marina. Marbella’s old town offers traditional Andalusian architecture and historic sites.

Transport

We recommend flying into Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport. You can fly directly to Málaga from most major cities around Europe. Other alternatives include Madrid–Barajas Airport and Gibraltar International Airport.

Málaga Airport is about 45 minutes away from our wedding destination, and there are multiple transportation options between the airport and Marbella to choose from:

– Bus: The bus runs roughly every 30 minutes. It takes 40-45 minutes from the airport to reach the Marbella bus station.
– Taxi/rental car: If you are driving, it takes just over an hour to reach Marbella.

Getting to the Venue: Casa Del La Era is only a ten-minute taxi from the centre of the Marbella Old Town. There is no parking on-site, so we ask that all guests arrive by taxi or ridesharing app.

Where to Stay

Due to Marbella being a popular tourist destination, there are many great options for both Hotels and Airbnb’s all along the coast.

Two recommended areas are:
– The Old Town (beautiful historic old town)
– Puerto Banus (harbour, beaches, nightlife)
