IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING!
(EN) From meeting at a bus stop in Canada to moving to Europe, we are so excited to be having our wedding this coming August in beautiful Spain. We cannot wait to share this occasion with all of you, our closest friends and family. Each of you have played an important role in our lives and it would mean the world to us to see you and celebrate with you on our special day.
(ES) Desde que nos conocimos en una parada de autobús en Canadá hasta que nos mudamos a Europa, estamos muy emocionados de celebrar nuestra boda el próximo mes de agosto en la hermosa España. No podemos esperar para compartir esta ocasión con todos ustedes, nuestros amigos más cercanos y familiares. Cada uno de ustedes ha jugado un papel importante en nuestras vidas y significaría mucho para nosotros verlos y celebrar con ustedes en nuestro día especial.
The Proposal / Pedida de Mano
(EN) When they were teenagers, Diana and Josh attended different high schools. However they both had one thing in common, they would take the same bus home after school each day. One day Josh said hello to Diana while waiting for the bus to arrive. And the rest is history…
And so when it came to planning the proposal, there wasn’t a more appropriate place than the same bus stop where it all started.
During the Christmas season of 2022, they were back in Canada visiting family. One day Josh asked Diana to pose for a photo at the place where they met. He used this opportunity to ask her to marry him.
(ES) Cuando eran adolescentes, Diana y Josh iban a institutos distintos. Sin embargo, ambos tenían algo en común: cada día cogían el mismo autobús para volver a casa después de clase. Un día, Josh saludó a Diana mientras esperaba a que llegara el autobús. Y el resto es historia…
Así que, a la hora de planear la pedida de mano, no había un lugar más apropiado que la misma parada de autobús donde empezó todo.
Durante las Navidades de 2022, estaban de vuelta en Canadá visitando a la familia. Un día Josh le pidió a Diana que posara para una foto en el lugar donde se conocieron. Aprovechó la ocasión para pedirle que se casara con él.

We would advise you to stay in Estepona, a beautiful Spanish town only 15 minutes from the wedding venue.
Estepona, on the world-famous Costa del Sol, conserves all the charms of a typical Andalusian town, with its peaceful squares bedecked with colourful flowerpots and little white houses. It is also a holiday resort offering all the latest modern amenities, golf clubs and sporting and recreational areas.
Its 21 kilometres of coastline are home to a number of beaches that have been awarded the European Blue Flag. Highlights include the areas along the seafront promenade and the marina (which every Sunday is the site of a street market offering traditional products and arts and crafts).

Sus 21 kilómetros de costa albergan numerosas playas galardonadas con la Bandera Azul europea. Destaca el paseo marítimo y el puerto deportivo, donde todos los domingos se celebra un mercadillo de productos tradicionales y artesanía.
