James and Dani’s journey began on November 17, 2018, when fate brought them together at The Boathouse in Christchurch. From that first date, it was clear, they were smitten, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

Their adventure took them from Christchurch to Southampton, where they embarked on their next chapter: renovating their very first home as a couple.

On March 3, 2023, Dani surprised James with the most exciting news imaginable—“I’m pregnant!” Fast forward to November 1, 2023, and their lives were forever transformed with the arrival of little Margeaux. The love story just keeps getting better, as they embrace the joys of parenthood with hearts full of pride and happiness.

James popped the question on Dani’s birthday, but this wasn’t just any birthday surprise, it was set against the backdrop of the iconic band stand in Christchurch. Dani thought the day was all about a celebratory lunch, but James had something even more unforgettable up his sleeve. He chose the very spot opposite where their story began, where their first date unfolded.

For James, Christchurch isn’t just a town; it’s their “happy place,” overflowing with cherished memories shared with each other, Ava, and Joseph.

As for the dress code, feel free to express your personal style! It’s a fantastic excuse to get dolled up. October weather is usually very pleasant. Gentlemen, no need to don a suit if it’s warm, and ladies, the venue is perfect for heels if you’re feeling fancy.
